About the role
This position is based either at our Fremantle campus or at the Melbourne Clinical School (Werribee) and provides course coordination as well as the development and delivery of the postgraduate qualifications in Paramedicine. This role reports to the Program Coordinator, Paramedicine.
Key Responsibilities
- The preparation, development, and delivery of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and workplace integrated learning support.
- Course coordination and line management of teaching team.
- Involvement in professional activities to maintain professional accreditation requirements.
- Consultation with students.
- Broad administrative functions.
- Marking and assessment; with regular quality review to meet all academic integrity and University policy and procedures in assessment.
- Attendance at team, school or faculty meetings as required and a key role in planning or committee work.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Possession of a Paramedicine or Registered Nurse qualification and registered with AHPRA,
- Progression towards, or completion of a PhD, or a Master’s degree with demonstrated five years’ experience in health or professional practice-based education settings.
- Demonstrated experience in the education and assessment of paramedics.
- Demonstrated leadership and management qualities.
